The goal of cadeting is "Helping boys to grow more Christ-like in all areas of life." Through Bible study and discussion, boys discover who God is and how he works in their lives. Merit badges, woodworking, kub kars, Snow Derby, Cadet-A-Rama, camping and other fun activities encourage them to explore and develop their God-given talents.
Cadet meetings are held every Tuesday evening from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. We meet at Emmanuel Reformed Church, on Clarke Street North, across from Huron Park Secondary School. All boys aged 7 to 14 are invited to join us for an evening of Bible study, merit badges, woodworking and other fun activities.
The theme for 2018 was "Be a Blessing", based on 2 Corinthians 9 verse 8. 'And God is able to provide you with every blessing in abundance, so that by always having enough of everything, you may share abundantly in every good work..'
Our new season begins again on Tuesday, October 2, 2018. We would love to have you join us.
